Choking on this air of war, the students of Hogwarts return to their beloved school, their young minds and hearts ablaze and searching for release. Some worry for the future while others dance and revel in the now. Even in such trying times, despite the uncertain future, young hearts cannot be dampened and Headmaster Dippet encourages what hope and light he sees in his students.

Bright light might fill these hallowed halls, but secrets steal away in the shadows. Last year, Rubeus Hagrid opened the Chamber of Secrets and let loose a terrible monster. He was expelled, the chamber shut, but the fear still lingers. Muggle born and half-blood look over their shoulders in dark corridors while some daring pure-bloods speak of the greater good. Outside a war rages to determine the future of the Wizarding world and the ultimate fate of the Muggles.

But in the shadow of war, one cannot see the greater darkness rising.
